Today we started a lesson by watching a short film on camera shots, angles, and lighting effects. After this i played with a new programme called celtx.

first media lesson

I made this blog in my first media lesson. i found it quite fun nd different as ive never made one before. Weve been talking about what were going to be doing in my course as im starting my first year of 6th form, where i'll be studying media.
We talked about making films, studying texts, television programmes and the news/newspapers.

As this is my first time making a blog it'll look a bit shabby to start off with but it will get better lol:)... if you now a way of improving it or you just wanna chat, then leave a message and ill get back to you!! ... lol a bit formal aint it lol :)

Hi!!
I've just finished my second media lesson!! lol
We've just made some presentations on camera angles, camera shots, mis-en-scene, sound, pretty much everything to do towards videos and the way they work. Me and my two friends had to make a presentation on camera angles and present it to the whole of the class.
it was fun! lol
We wrote about oblique/ canted angles, slanted, birds-eye, low angle, high angle and eye level.
It gave us all a better understanding of the way video cameras are used and the way that camera angles show different effects whilst being used.
If you know any more different types of angles or any other info then just say and ill look it up!!
